Camp school
Peace, quiet and wilderness in the countryside
45 beds
Camp schools at the Riiho Guest House! The Riiho Guest House, in Central Finland town Keuruu, offers camp schools a peaceful setting and an inspiring environment to focus on learning and activities. Our camp school programme has been designed in cooperation with experienced primary school teachers who are familiar with both classroom and camp school settings. Our packages have been designed for easy purchasing: although as comprehensive as possible, their content can be adjusted. The days consist of modules that are easily transferred between days.
In our rural setting, exercise and being outdoors are integral parts of the camp school programme. You can also visit a dairy farm to learn about milk production and a farm museum that exhibits and demonstrates a more than century-old way of living and working.
You can find our initial per-pupil price in the Programme link (the final price will be based on our quote). The adults ja the kid with the same price.

Himmaanmäki observation tower
The Himmaanmäki observation tower is a popular destination. On the way to the tower, you will learn a great deal about traditional Finnish coniferous and mixed forests and their animals and vegetation. The tower is around 2.5 km from the Riiho Guest House.

The magician, juggler and storyteller are sole proprietors working in different parts of Finland. Their services MUSTbe ordered well in advance, so we can book them for your chosen date. Our other partners live nearby and can be booked at shorter notice. However, we recommend that they be booked as early as possible to ensure their availability on your chosen date.
Don’t forget to ask about our other services!
Accommodation
We have a total of 45 beds in rooms that accommodate 2–9 people. Our accommodation facilities are in the main building and the yard building, which are close to each other. Our kitchen prepares meals and snacks from scratch, and we also bake daily for our guests.
Inside the Guest House
Watch this video to see what type of facilities the Riiho Guest House offers. The video was filmed during a confirmation camp, which is why the rooms are a little untidy – but that’s just a sign of enjoying life and being together.
