For the special occasions in your life
The Riiho Guest House in Keuruu is an atmospheric banquet facility known for its cosiness and hospitality. The spacious rooms in the 100-year-old village school building provide a beautiful setting for many types of special events. With more than 25 years of experience, we will organise an unforgettable event according to your needs and wishes. We celebrate milestones with you: christenings, confirmations, graduations, weddings and birthdays. We also organise beautiful, dignified memorial events with great care and consideration. Whatever the occasion, we take care of the arrangements so you can fully focus on your event. Small and large occasions are equally important to us, and we organise them with you with great warmth.
Banquet facilities
The Riiho Guest House is in a beautiful natural setting by Lake Riihijärvi. In nice weather, christenings and weddings can be held by the lake or at the camp church by the ridge. We also have beautiful, atmospheric facilities for such events inside the Guest House. Our light and spacious dining room accommodates around 40 people at a time, and the adjacent room has seats for another 40 people. In addition, we can convert the old sports hall into a banquet facility, which increases the total number of seats to around 120. Food is served from a buffet table, and coffee is served from the long side table in the upper classroom. We can also serve an evening snack to your guests in accordance with your plans.
Equipment
Our banquet room equipment includes a data projector, screen, CD player, sound reinforcement system, guitar, piano and two electric pianos. The sports hall can also serve as a play area for children and can be converted into a dance floor in the evening.
We offer accommodation for guests before and after the event, meaning that people can celebrate into the early hours of the morning. If you decide to hold your event at another location for some reason, you can book accommodation with breakfast and sauna for your guests with us.
We also organise family celebrations, larger family meetings and class reunions, which may last for an entire weekend.
Organise your own party
We also rent facilities without services. You can cook for a large group in our kitchen, or you can order a banquet menu or coffee from us and prepare everything else yourself. See here for more information about the cost of renting facilities.
