Welcome to the Guest House Riiho

The day starts with a delicious lunch in the warm atmosphere of an old folk school. You will here the fascinating history of the place, dating back to the 1500s. The storytelling session is punctuated by a sing-along - relaxed togetherness at its best.

Himmaan Peak scenery tower and a Himmaan hut

The tour continues to the Himmaan Peak observation tower by bus. The tower offers stunning views over the finnish forests. A short nature trail offers a pleasant introduction to the Finnish forest. There is also an unique and cosy hut for 60 people. Enjoy coffee and freshly made cinnamon rolls at the hut and enjoy the warmth of the fire.

In the Himmaan hut, you can make delicacies on a camp fire under guidance. You can make pancakes on a campfire or stake traditional finnish cheese on the fire. Here's a great opportunity for everyone to cook their own food over a fire. Sausages can be staked both indoors and outdoors by the covered fireplace.

The staff at the guesthouse will be at Himmaa to welcome the group, serve the food and guide each member of the group personally in preparing the campfire food.

There is also plenty of covered seating outside the hut and a covered fireplace.

Availability

A relaxing day on the countryside is available all year round, except June and July. Booking at least 14 days in advance.
